You are sick and tired of your
past screwing with your life.

You wake up in a state of dread and panic and you feel like you are walking on eggshells. You aren’t motivated to do anything and you feel hopeless and confused. What happened to you in your past is getting in the way of everything right now and you are FED UP.  Your anxiety is through the roof. You are sad, angry, unmotivated, and you keep pushing people away. Work sucks because you can’t concentrate and you don’t really care about it anyway.

What the hell is going on with me?

Nobody understands you. And frankly, you really don’t feel like being around people anyway. Right now, being you sucks.  You can’t seem to be a good partner, friend, parent, and family member. There is no controlling the feeling that something bad is looming around every corner and any minute now, the other shoe is going to drop. Sometimes your heart rate gets elevated, stomach drops for no reason whatsoever, and it’s like you are on an emotional rollercoaster. Reliving traumatic events and trying to validate your feelings to others is embarrassing. How can anyone truly understand what you have gone through and will they even believe you? Did you cause this to happen?

THE ANSWER IS ALWAYS NO.

your back that allows others to hurt you.
I get it.

Maybe you have been looking for someone who can help you unpack some of this crap you have been carrying around with you. You didn’t choose the difficulties in your life. You did not choose what happened to you.  You want to figure out how to feel better about yourself, find the motivation to succeed in your personal and/or work life, and stop all the negative self-talk in your head. I understand what you have experienced and can help you navigate towards a life that you enjoy and build solid and healthy relationships. Imagine having control over your emotions, healthy relationships that not only fulfill you, but also allow you to maintain your identity. Visualize what it would be like to wake up in the morning and not have a feeling of dread.

I have been where you are and have a personal understanding of what it means to experience feeling unbalanced and not in control of your emotions.

What you are feeling and experiencing does not have to last forever.

While your experiences don’t define you, they do shape how you see the world and can often get in the way of living a pretty awesome life.

Therapy needs to be real and relatable, or it’s not going to work out. I keep it that way at all times.
